nick krauss, pastor

Pastor Nick Krauss married his wonderful wife and high school sweetheart, Haleigh, in 2012. Growing up he was a member of Southern Baptist churches before becoming convinced of Presbyterianism during his time at Reformed Theological Seminary in Atlanta. Completing his MDiv in 2019, he completed the requirements for ordination, before being installed as the Senior Pastor of Evergreen Community Church on July 24, 2022. Pastor Krauss loves to read, discuss theology, work out, and hike and explore new places throughout Virginia with his wife. They recently welcomed their first child.

Robert ADams, Ruling Elder

Robert came to faith at a young age. He and his wife Sondra spent their early years in Lesotho, Southern Africa on staff with Cru.  He has served as an elder in the PCA for over 30 years and was part of the original core group that planted Evergreen in 2009. They have two married children and 6 grandchildren, and he enjoys reading, fishing, being outdoors and woodworking. 

Michael Bowling, ruling Elder

Michael Bowling came to faith as an adult in his thirties.  He and his wife of 26 years, Carrie, joined Evergreen in 2013 and he became a ruling elder in 2023.  He enjoys writing and recording original music that explores his faith. Michael and his wife have 7 children, a dog and two cats.

Steve Donahue, Ruling elder

Steve came to faith while in college. After attending seminary and spending some years in vocational ministry as a Southern Baptist, he found his beliefs growing more reformed, and eventually found a better fit within the PCA. He and his wife, Joanna, have been married since 1992, and joined Evergreen in 2015. They have 5 living children and 1 grandchild. Steve loves most things that involve the outdoors.
