Connect

At Evergreen we believe that people of all ages benefit from learning and growing together. Each Sunday after our worship service we spend time in fellowship over coffee and snacks. Following fellowship time, everyone is invited to come to a "Get to Know Us" lunch, held at the home of one of our member families.
Everyone is invited to Fictional, our twice-monthly book club, and to Prayer & Psalms, our monthly dinner and prayer meeting.
We also have special events like our spring and fall Barn Dances, and our annual Brunswick Stew, in addition to women's, men's, and children's activities and Bible studies, and whole church gatherings.

Brunswick stew

The whole community is invited to Evergreen's free Brunswick Stew lunch on November 1, from noon to 2:00.  It's family friendly, delicious, and costs nothing! We'll have stew, hot dogs, hamburgers, sides, dessert, (maybe antique cars,) good conversation, and activities for children. The event is behind the Coop at 2895 Lower Hill Road., and there's plenty of parking in front and behind the building. Invite all your friends!

prayer & psalms

The third Wednesday of each month, everyone is invited to join us for dinner provided by one of Evergreen's families and a time of studying and praying through a Psalm. We meet at the Reeves' home, or at The Coop if they are away. It's an intimate time to fellowship, enjoy good food, learn, and pray with the family of God. We'd love for you to join us! fictional

Fictional started at the request of the youth of Evergreen, who challenged Pastor Krauss to read their favorite stories by Christian authors. Rising to the challenge, Pastor Krauss leads the book club, which meets at his home or the home of other Evergreen families. Past books include several by C.S. Lewis, with J.R.R. Tolkein's writings up next. Readers of all ages are welcome! We meet the second and fourth Wednesday evening of each month, starting at 6:30. Contact Pastor Krauss for information. Admin@eccpca.org
