I have to admit that winter is my least favorite season for a very simple reason: it’s too cold! Its one redeeming feature is that it marks the beginning of the holiday season. There are so many things which make the holidays fun: its a time to enjoy family, a time to be thankful, and a time to be active in celebration. And even if you do not like the holidays, you probably don’t mind the time off work! But there is one holiday that our world, and even many Christians, have forgotten to take delight in. It’s the one day which God created in the beginning to be enjoyed by all humanity. It is the only day which God blessed to be a truly holy-day: the seventh day (Genesis 2:1-3)! Christians no longer celebrate on the seventh day, but the principle remains. Now the first day of the week, the Resurrection Day, has become our day for celebrating our Creator and Savior!
